Hoffman Process

Curious if anyone in this network has done the Hoffman Process, an intense personal development, self-help 7-day retreat that uses, in part, visual meditations. More at hoffmaninstitute.org

No. Not sure it would work for me. I cannot “visualize” in the first place.

Yes. I’ve done the Hoffman Process. Since figured out I have aphantasia, which explains why I struggled with so much of the week’s content!

Thanks for posting this!̦ Robert. I’ve taken part in the H0ffman Process and, like Nina (below), I struggled with many of the exercises. It seemed like the majority of practices involved some visualization. Toward the end of the 1st day, I mentioned to one of the facilitators that I couldn’t see anything in my mind’s eye. Her paraphrased response: trust the process – “it’ll come”. Though the dreaming did during the week, the visualisations never did. I wonder if in the ensuing years that more of the Process facilitators have taken aphantasia into account in delivering their curriculum?
