We are a neurodivergent-specialized psychotherapy and counselling team in Ontario, Canada.
Many of us have aphantasia, hypophantasia and a few of us are hyperaphants. We have written about aphantasia in the therapy room
around this as well. We are all experienced in understanding its upsides and challenges, especially in the context of being multiply neurodivergent, struggling to overcome anxiety, PTSD, or relational road blocks.
We offer our therapy services within Ontario, and coaching services worldwide.
Personally, I approach therapy collaboratively. Together, we connect ALL of the dots: neurobiological, relational, your past and your future hopes and dreams. As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, we will work together to create a treatment plan through the lens of your values, goals and experiences in the world.
My approach is informed by foundational principles of trauma-focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and attachment-based Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I’m also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy for PTSD, and really enjoy incorporating somatic (physiological) work into healing complex trauma and anxiety, such as through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP).
I have a special interest in working with adults late diagnosed with ADHD, giftedness, women, folks with aphantasia, first responders, and health care workers.
