On “Do psychedelic drugs effect people with aphantasia differently?”
I have taken ayahuasca many, many times in the past ten years. I never knew why I seemed to have a very different experience than every other person that I have sat with, which is upwards of 100 different people. I now know that I have total aphantasia. I rarely see visuals on the medicine - other than geometric patterns or changes to the nature of reality. Also, anecdotally, while most people puke their brains out, I never do.
