Plymouth Sensory Imagery Questionnaire

Explore the vividness of your sensory imagination across all your senses..

How vivid is your sensory imagination?

The Plymouth Sensory Imagery Questionnaire (PSIQ) is a validated self-report measure developed by researchers Jackie Andrade, Jon May, Catherine Deeprose, Sarah-Jane Baugh, and Giorgio Ganis at Plymouth University to assess the vividness of sensory imagination across multiple modalities: vision, sound, smell, taste, touch, bodily sensation, and emotional feeling. The PSIQ provides a deeper understanding of sensory imagination capabilities, highlighting the multisensory nature of mental imagery beyond just the visual aspect.

Note: This survey is not a diagnostic tool. It is part of a research study exploring sensory vividness across different modalities in relation to conditions like aphantasia.
