How vivid is your mind’s ear, nose, tongue…?

The Plymouth Sensory Imagery Questionnaire (Psi-Q) assesses your ability to generate and experience sensory imagery across multiple modalities.

Note: This survey is not a diagnostic tool. It is part of a research study exploring whether different varieties of sensory imagery might occur with imagination extremes, aphantasia and hyperphantasia.

Instructions: Please try to form the images described in each question and rate each mental image on the following scale:

0 (no image at all) to 10 (image as clear and vivid as real life)

Select the appropriate rating for each item. Please rate every item.
