Interesting question. I have lived in many different places, and found it pretty easy emotionally to move country. People always ask whether I found it difficult to leave family and friends, which I always thought a bit weird - like needing to be near your family is a bit of a weakness. I also do not make friends easily (or much at all). But no sure how much it would be related, could be a different personality trait.
