Hyper Aware Dream Characters

Anyone else ever had a dream character try to convince you that your dream world was a parallel reality?

I had a dream character display "Non-Player Agency." I gained semi-lucidity after realizing one of the characters was fake, so I asked the third character "Why is he here? He died in 2016.” This character, an observer between two other characters, provided this explanation: ”That's sad, but he lives longer in this world.”

I'm not sure if this is the right place to discuss dream character behavior. Nonetheless, many of my dreams are quite vivid due to my hyperphantasia; therefore, the characters are influenced as well, at least in my case. I often hear and see some pretty weird things.
