Joined 18 days agoI'm in the same boat - all my life thinking that everyone else perceived their thoughts/ides/imagination similarly to me has gone out the window. When my wife was perplexed that I couldn't close my eyes and 'see' what I was thinking/imagining, a lot of things suddenly made sense - like why I can't even draw a decent stick figure (sure, lack of talent factors into that LOL) or why guided meditation feels like a conceptual exercise instead of actually 'seeing' what's described. I thought 'vivid imagination' was simply a term for those who could translate their thoughts into physical images better than I could. It's comforting to know that my brain isn't broken!
