Uncharted, last of us, and horizon are all favorites, to which I'd add Mass Effect first and foremost, Red Dead Redemption, Nier Automata, God of War, and Resident Evil 4. With the exception of RDR, they are all what I call open-ish worlds -- freedom to go wherever you want on the map, but a very strong story that guides you from start to finish should you choose.

I've been a touring nightclub/festival DJ and electronic music producer since 1992, and I've always known my approach to constructing a set was different than nearly all of my peers, but it wasn't until I learned about aphantasia about a year back that I **FINALLY** understood why. I already have a PhD in Political Science, but if I had it all to do over again, I'd absolutely study this instead of that. I don't know music theory, mostly because every time I tried to learn it, I failed. I can neither visualize mental images nor hear mental sounds, so...LOL yeah, no wonder learning a visual representation of sound hasn't worked for me. And no wonder my approach to production has been sample-based, scaffolding up from bits of others work rather than starting from a blank slate. No wonder my approach to DJing is entirely improvisational and based entirely and only on feel rather than pre-planned routines and structures and components. I could go on and on and on with this, but for now let me simply say: thank you! It's so nice to be part of this conversation now, both to better understand myself and my peers and how/why I found my place in the scene the way that I did so very many years ago!

New here. I'm a zero on everything, and until about six months ago, I had no idea any of these things even existed. To say "I now understand myself and my life's struggles over the last 54 years better" is an understatement of such epic proportions I....wow. Just WOW.
