I dream and it seems very real! I experience sights and sounds but cannot remember ever tasting, touching or smelling anything in any dreams. My aphantasia is of all my senses too, I only think in words like in abstractions, concepts and descriptions

Kind of seems like you dissociate along with having aphantasia 

I got super sad when I realized I won’t be able to picture my baby as a baby after she grows up 

I have aphantasia of all my senses. Can’t imagine pictures, smells, sounds, tastes or physical feelings. I literally think in words like I’m talking to myself without hearing it... a silent conversation with myself. If I was prompted to imagine something I can, but only in in the abstract, my brain just describes what I’m imagining to me without any sensory input 

I dream with visuals and sounds but I don’t remember ever feeling touch or smelling anything in a dream. Also if I think about the dream after waking, I cannot see the dream anymore. Concious: black abyss Dream state: sights and sounds .
