I recently tried to take an online meditation course and one of the first things we were to do was visualize the number 3 as hard as I tried I couldn't do it. Nor was I really able to do any of the other visialization exercise. I guess some people have a visual screen that they can see things on. My boss sees things in 3D in his mind, visualize things as they will be.

I am so relieved to find out that hypnopompic hallucinations are "normal", mine lately have been of a online game that I play too much. It seems so real for a bit that I actually think I have the phone in my hand. As soon as I realize it is not real, (because the game does something it doesn't do), it goes away. I am Aphantasia, conceptulizer.
I like the Question: Are You a Visualizer or Conceptualizer? I have always grasp concepts easily, (because I am not distracted by unneeded details?). My boss is able to visualize future things in 3D detail as if they are already in existence. So I am not only learning about myself, I am learning how he is different.
