Video of images

I realize that when I listen to a non-visual narrative (someone talking, audiobook, TV but not looking at the screen) I see a series of images that correspond to the words spoken. Not all the words but everyone that has a physical subject.
These flash by at the rate of the speaker and even if I speed up the stream of words, with an audiobook this is possible, the images keep up.
Does anyone else experience this?

I don’t. But music does get stuck in my head and I do have a constant internal dialogue with myself going on in my head almost always.

Yes, I do. In daily life I find my mind conjures images and scenes according to things said, and words I read, like names, titles, talking, music, and especially audiobooks. When I get a song stuck in my head, it is sung in the exact tone and lyrics that singer has (usually it’s just a snippet of the song). If i’m in a room with the door closed, I can picture exactly what is outside of it if I have seen it(even just a glance) and also through sounds outside of the room.
